TERMS

ARTWORK: Prices in this catalog are based on the receipt of camera ready artwork . We reserve the right to determine what is camera ready artwork and to arrange the copy for best display on the item screened, unless specific instructions are provided. In multi-colored designs there is the possibility of a 1/16" variation in registration.  We advise trapping your art to minimize problems for closely-registered spot colors. If multicolor design with tight registration requires the use of a decal to achieve the requested result, there will be an up charge to our normal pricing and will require an additional lead time in production. The minimum order for a decal is 36 pieces.

  1. Sharp flat black and white art produced on photographic paper requiring no touchup.

  2. All graphics and typesetting included.

  3. Totally clean ( no spots, stains, ect.)

  4. No alterations of copy required.

  5. Xerox copies, FAX copies or copies via thermographic (raised type - like business cards) are not accaptable

  6. Computer printout with less than 1000 dpi or rough edges.

  7. Art with dot-pattern acceptable for offset printing but not for direct silk screening.

  8. Color separated and properly registered for direct screening.

  10. Copy must be submitted typewritten to avoid misinterpretation.

  11. All art submitted is subject to review and possible additional charges

  12. Submitted artwork will automatically be resized to max size unless otherwise noted.

IMPRINT POSITION: The standard imprint position is on the side facing a right-handed drinker or "front" . The side facing a left handed drinker is referred to as "back." A third position can be specified as "opposite the handle." The standard imprint is on the "front" unless otherwise directed. Because some of our handled glassware products have seams opposite the handle, we do not recommend wraparound imprints.

PROOFS: When Requested: FAXED black and white paper proofs are available at $5.00 Any changes or revisions to your original instructions will incur additional proofing charges. The proof approval form sent with the proof must be signed and returned before production of your order begins. Any art approval signed by you will be your responsibility when the order is complete. Pay close attention to the layout, size and all typesetting. We reserve the right to render a proof for any order. The factory's policy is to issue a speculative product sample for your approval prior to production for all orders of 576 pieces or larger, orders with complicated artwork and orders requiring the use of the decal process. Delays to proof approvals may require a change in your scheduled ship dates. A preproduction proof is treated the same as a speculative sample. Random samples will be shipped UPS Ground.

SCREEN CHARGES: Screen charges and setup charges represent cost of photography, screen production and any and all minor touch ups required for art. $27.50 per color (For direct screening) $45.00 per color (For Decals ) on initial order. On re-orders within two years of the original order date for the same copy, same size there is no screen charge for orders of 144 pieces or more; for quantities less than 144 pieces there will be a reduced screen charge of $12.50 per color (For direct screening) $25.00 per color (For Decals ) 

On the original order, if identical art except for size is required, there will be a $20.00 per color charge to re-size the art.

SPECULATIVE SAMPLES: Speculative samples are available at $35.00 per color (direct Screening) $50.00 (Decals) plus artwork & screen charges. The speculative sample charge will be credited in full if an order of 576 or more materializes within 90 days after delivery of this unchanged sample. Random sample are $5.00 per sample (no more than two). Slight variances in imprint color, appearance and registration between sample proofs and final production must be considered acceptable. Speculative samples are not available from December 15th to January 15th.

COPY CHANGES: Add $25.00, per change, per color.

COLOR CHANGES: Should you require part of the order to be imprinted in a different ceramic color, within a production run, using the same screen, there is a color change charge of $12.50. Changing from a ceramic imprint to 22K Gold or Platinum imprint will incur a new screen charge. Minimum 72 pieces for special pricing per color change. There is no extra charge for using the same imprint, screen and imprint color on different colored mugs of the same style. (Applicable to one color imprints only). Full packing quantities are required for each color change (imprint or item).

CREATIVE WORK:
Creative work, such as computer art graphics and multiple renditions of one design, or creating logos and all preparatory work developed and furnished by the producer shall remain our exclusive properly. Acetates, film positives, screens and other preparatory materials produced by the factory also remain the exclusive property of the factory.

SUBMITTED COPY USAGE: All copy or other material submitted by the customer for use by us in producing the items ordered therewith, will be accepted by us as being submitted in full compliance with all applicable laws regarding trademark, service mark, copyright, right of privacy, patent or similar protection. The customer, by submitting such copy or other material, represents that the use thereof by us on the items ordered will not violate any such laws in the use of the customer's copy or other material. The customer hereby agrees to hold us harmless for any damages, cost or expenses when they arise under all such laws as a consequence of our use of said copy or other material or operations undertaken by the agreement.

LOGOS: Products and logos shown in this catalog appear only to illustrate the basic products and art on them., but are never intended to suggest that the imprints were designed by this company or that the products with those specific imprints are available to any purchaser without the permission of the owners of the trademark or copyrighted art.

COLORS: Standard ceramic colors ( See standard Colors )are available and are fired at 1100 to 1300 degrees F. Gold and platinum are available on most items, they are not dishwater safe and will wear off with prolonged use. Precious metal decorations tend to scratch easily and are not recommended if permanence is desired. The thinnest line that can be direct screened with precious metal is 1/64" and 1/32" for reversed line. A selection of standard colors is listed by using PMS numbers for reference only. Colors are approximate when used on white glazed mugs. They will appear differently when applied on glassware and on various colored ceramic mugs. When a specific color match is desired, please include a PMS number or color swatch.  A standard (close) match for most PMS colors is $75.00 - $115.00. Our ability to exactly match depends on the PMS color required Due to the nature of ceramic colors, an exact color match cannot always be guaranteed. Some colors can not be matched.

OVER & UNDER RUNS: Due to the manufacturing difficulties, we try, but cannot always guarantee the exact quantity shipment of an order. Shipments of 288 pieces or less are subject to a 10% over run or under run, shipments of 289 pieces or more are subject to 5% over or under run. All decal orders are subject to an over run or under run of up to 10%.
We reserve the right to make exact quantity shipment request at a additional up charge of 5%.

CANCELLATIONS: C & C Ceramic Shop reserves the right to commence production upon receipt of the order. Changes, including cancellations of orders received in the factory will be accepted only with the understanding that we will be reimbursed fully for any order processing or production already accomplished (Minimum 15%). Confirming orders must clearly state "confirmation" on the face of the order or we are not responsible for duplication of the order.


LEAD TIME: In general, we can get an order out in 10 business days (So that's 2 weeks). If multicolor design with tight registration requires the use of a decal to achieve the requested result, there will be an up charge to our normal pricing and will require an additional lead time in production. The minimum order for a decal is 36 pieces. Rush orders are available

Depending on where you live, UPS might take 1-5 business days to get the shipment to you (So that's up to one week more).

PRODUCTION TIME: Remember, production time begins after you have been sent a graphic proof and approved it... not the moment you send an order in. Be sure and allow time for us to get proof approval from you, and also shipping time.

LATE ORDERS: When you have an order that is pushing the deadline, DO NOT send in the question form asking if we can get it done in time.... this just wastes one more valuable day. And the answer is usually... "just send the order (and artwork if you are sending your own artwork) so we can schedule it". We can't schedule an order until you send it. If an order is less than 10 business days production time there may be additional charges.

So if you need the order quickly, don't send an inquiry... call us right away.

SUPER LATE ORDERS: On certain items we can do a "2 or 3 day rush". Extra charges apply and it's not available on all items. In these cases you're best bet is to call us right away.

F.O.B.: All ware is priced F.O.B. factory Pennington, New Jersey.

SPLIT SHIPMENTS: There is a $7.00 charge for each split shipment after the first.

MAILERS: Mailers are available for some items. All mailer pricing includes insertion of the product into mailers, unless otherwise specified. Requested mailers or gift boxes will be packed in master (outer) cartons at $5.50 per master carton. $11.00 minimum.

SHIPPING: Shipping Costs - Prices do not include shipping costs. Exact shipping will be added to the cost of the order. Feel free to email us for a shipping quote... BUT: Be sure to include your city and zip code!!

We INSIST on giving customers insurance and using double boxed master cartons and they are not optional. Master cartons are specified for UPS shipments and Federal Express. The required additional packaging is at a special charge of $4.50 per carton, with a $9.00 minimum per shipment. The factory reserves the right to select the carrier whenever the carrier is not specified or when suggested carrier does not service Pennington. NO COD shipments. We do not prepare export papers. Freight estimate provided by the factory cannot be guaranteed for accuracy as rates fluctuate.

INDIVIDUAL MAILING: Will be made for the cost of the mailer, shipping cost, and a handling charge of $1.00 each. Customer must supply labels and a complete typewritten, alphabetized list of the mailings.

CLAIMS: Claims must be made within 10 days of receipt of a shipment. Goods are shipped at buyer's risk and all claims for breakage or loss must be filed by buyer with the carrier. Request for replacement pieces due to freight breakage must be treated as a separate order and are subject to normal minimums. The minimum order to replace breakage is 36 pieces.  UPS/RPS will pay up to $100.00 per carton. Anything over $100 will not be paid unless additional insurance has been purchased on the carton. Unless otherwise specified, all ware is shipped at a release value not to exceed $.90 per pound, and any reimbursement will be paid at no more than this release value. Carriers require retention of cartons and breakage for their inspection in substantiating claims. Merchandise returns will be accepted only when accompanied by an authorizing return number issued from the factory. If we receive a package that was returned and unauthorized. We will ship back the goods at the customers expense. All claims relating to quality of merchandise must be filed with the factory in writing within 8 working days of receipt of goods. Ware returned to the factory for additional imprinting such as personalization's, signatures or opposite side imprints, etc. must be completed within 30 days of original shipping.

WARRANTY: Slight variations & imperfections in glassware and ceramics are not considered flaws. Variation in raw materials, glazes, production equipment and firing temperature may result in variations in size shape, glaze color, etc. these are considered acceptable industry standards. Defective merchandise will be replaced, but our liability is limited to the invoice cost of the item.

REPLACEMENT POLICY:
No Returns on the following (misprinting , shipment shortage, ink color correction). In any case of a event date, we highly recommend ordering a few weeks prior to printing.
Incase of any misprinting , shipment shortage,or ink color correction we will reprint the project. The cost price will depend on who is at fault.

To file a claim with your product you must write us, email us or fax us a letter stating your situation.

No Rush Service available for Re-Print Claims. We will ship Re-Print orders Ground Delivery Service, unless the customer is willing to pay for faster Delivery Shipment.


TERMS: We accept Visa and MC  NO COD shipments

Once your order is sent, we will send you your totals and send you a form for payment. Net 30, FOB Factory with approved credit. If prepayment is required, normal production time applies after requested prepayment has been received

TAX EXEMPTION: We require the distributor to have a certificate of exemption on file prior to shipping your order, otherwise all applicable taxes will be charged.

We reserve the right to have our company information, including our logo on the bottom of our mug.
